"Mitty" Margaret Coles (Crymes)
Retired Widowed 2
Quit work(February 2011) when my husband went on Hospice.  Sadly my sweet Al died in December 2011.  After his death I did not return to work as I emotionally was unable to work with sick patients again or anything in a hospital setting.  Two  grandchildren, Jacob 12 & Jarrett 9.  My daughter(Elizabeth & husband Spike) built on land adjoining mine in 2012 &     has helped me not being alone as the boys are in & out all the time.  I remain active in Victoria Baptist Church & am treasurer for a group of "mature" folks(The Virginia Ramblers)  & and plan our trips/outings.  I also provide total support for my 35 y/o son with mental illness.   Send "Mitty" Margaret a MessageSend "Mitty" Margaret a Message

David and I have been married 43 years. We have two married children and three beautiful grandchildren: a grandson, Ethan Carter Ott, born Feb. 2, 2006, and two granddaughters; Emma Marie Ott born in November 2008; and Marley Elizabeth Wilson born in January 2009.
We live on the campus of Wake Forest University where David teaches math. I retired as an assistant principal in the public school system at a Downtown (non-traditional) school. We both continue to enjoy playing tennis and bridge and dancing. We still go to Southport, NC in the summer (Oak Island and St. James Plantation). One day we hope to have more time to travel and enjoy family and friends.
We appreciate the reunion committee’s hard work for getting us all together. Looking forward to beautiful Bluefield weather!

Looking forward to this weekend and seeing lots of old friends.  This time I'm bringing along Karen as my bride of 2 1/2 years and not just my "girlfriend."  It's hard to explain such relationships when you're nearly 63 and people accuse you of robbing the cradle!  She's a division chief in the Defense Dept dealing with civilian education & national security professional development, and I've just been hired by a big Beltway Bandit, Booz Allen, to teach Latin American issues at the expanded NIU (National Intelligence University).  I'll be in the same building but probably at a different phone no.  So don't call the one listed here!  In my spare time, I edit the American Intelligence Journal for the National Military Intelligence Assn, sing tenor in the West Point Alumni Glee Club, and sing bass in our church choir (yes, I lead a very conflicted life).  Since the last reunion, I've decided being a student for life is not that much fun and finished a doctorate in education at GWU.  Also since then we now have our first grandchild, 4-year-old Emilia, who lives in Savannah with her parents.  Her mother Luciana (my only child if you don't count 8 stepchildren) is a historic preservationist & city archivist, obviously inheriting a love of history from her old man.  We wish they lived closer so we could see them more often, but maybe if we ever slow down in trying to fix the fed govt and DC's traffic we can travel a lot more.  Go Beavers and Class of '66!    Send Bill a MessageSend Bill a Message
