Donna Cooper (Cato)
Business Office Manager Married 3
Thank you . . . to all who work so hard on putting the reunions together. I pray that "#40" will be a great success. I still come back to Bluefield on a regular basis, but never see any of my classmates. My Mom says it's because we don't recognize each other after 40 years . . . She may have a point! My life is filled with work, grandchildren (5 of them), family and church. I'm convinced that grandchildren are God's gift to help us through the aging process. They are just like puppies and Jesus . . . "they love us in spite of our failures and imperfections". God Bless each of you! Lord willing, we will all be here for #45 . . . until then . . . My prayer for each of you is that the Lord Bless you and keep you. The Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turn His face on you and give you peace! Bill and I are still enjoying golfing, swimming and living on the lake just south of Knoxville, TN. Our daughter lives outside of San Francisco with her husband and her two sons, ages 2 and 4.  Our son lives outisde of Chicago in Aurora.  Our 11-year-old granddaughter lives in Denver.  We are still burning the roads and skies up going to spend time with them.  Grandchildren are just "THE BEST".  Can't wait to see everyone.  Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for always doing such a GREAT JOB! We wouldn't have reunions without you.  Thank you, thank you. Send Donna a MessageSend Donna a Message

I migrated to Charlotte in 1966 and after living all over the country, returned to charlotte 14 years ago. i have been in sales and in the insurance industry for the past 24 years and am self employed. i have two wonderful daughters denise and dana and two beautiful grandaughters olivia and julia. they live in greensboro and atlanta and i make it a point to see them at least every other month. my family has all migrated to charlotte and we get together at least three times a year. big family now with everyone having children and some with grandchildren. my favorite things to do are to be with my children and grandchildren, laugh, play in my garden, listen to music, play some golf(if it is cool weather), hike, go for long walks, be in the moment. i am healthy, not so wealthy and wise. life did not play out as i had planned, but it has been good . surround yourself with love and good friends, empty garbarge immediately(this includes people, situations, and clutter) breathe deeply, and love with unabandonment. Insurance Married 2
I have lived all over the country, mostly due to My Job, but managed to stop long enough to get my degree from UCONN with a bachelors in Finance and Marketing.  Along the way I met and married Doug, the love of my life and we live in South Carolina.  We love music, theatre, golfing, and going to the beach. Greatest joy is with our grandchildren who just happen to live in different parts of the country.  Keeps us pretty buys.  My entire family migrated here after the death of my mother almost 45 years ago.  No one left in West Virginia, but that is where my heart is. Evelyn Bennett (Frost)
Retired Teacher Married 2
Wow, I can't believe I am finally saying retired! I retired in June 2010 from Mercer County Board of Education with 36 years of service. All of these years of teaching were at Montcalm Elementary. Everett and I will celebrate 38 years of marriage in December. Brad, our oldest, was married in May and now resides in Bedford, VA. Emily is a nurse in the ER at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.
God has certainly blessed us. Now we are praying that He will bless us with grandchildren before we get too old to enjoy them.

Gina Brugnoli (Bocock)
Housewife, former teacher Married 2
It's hard to realize that 40 years have gone by so quickly. Bo and I recently celebrated our 35 anniversary. We have two sons, Kevin and Jeff. Both are graduates of Virginia Tech. Kevin is a civil engineer. He and his wife have a ten month old daughter, Elizabeth, who's stolen our hearts. They live in Salem, VA. Jeff is doing a Post Doc at UNC, Chapel Hill in Biochemistry. We never seem to make it back to Bluefield since we lost our parents and no longer have any family there. Send Gina a MessageSend Gina a Message
