Once again, I regret that I will have to miss seeing everyone at our reunion. Summers in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are much too busy for me to escape for a weekend of fun. Hopefully, I will still be kicking by the time of the next reunion.
My kindest regards to all.

OK! I'm trying this a second time!I retired from teaching 2 years ago. Loved teaching/Love Retirement! My husband, Tom, and I now have time to spend lots of quality time with our 3 grandchildren and travel when we want. I now spend a good portion of my time volunteering. I volunteer at my grandchildren's school once a week. I am on the Boards for the Angel Action Project and Project Read. These are Wyoming Co. Projects. It is amazing how quickly you get involved in volunteering when you open your mouth and say your interested in something. I'm also Vice President of our Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International. This is women teachers' organization. Do any of you belong? It would be great to hear from you and what chapter you are in. My family and I are happy and in good health. I wish you the same. I would have loved to be at this year's reunion. I was in Pt. Pleasant, WV in late June to stay a week with my dad who is now living with my brother, Tom. There was just no way to turn right around and come back three weeks later. I hope to be at the 50th. |

I can't believe it has been 40 years, time goes by so quickly. Anxious to see everyone and reminisce about growing up in Natures Air Conditioned City. Bluefield will always be home to me.
Thanks to the committee for all your hard work. See everyone in July.

Hell-o everyone & thanks a bunch to all the reunion planners. I'll be there. Hal & I are both retired and enjoying it. We will celebrate 30 years of happily married bliss on 11-14-11. We both enjoy music, gardening, snow skiing, sailing and power boating, traveling in the US and abroad (good thing since 2 of our 4 gradnchildren live in Australia) and being at home on Old Hickory Lake just outside of Nashville, TN. When Hal and I married, I also became Stepmom to 3 sons. Galen is an LA Lawyer. He and Riza live in Los Angeles with our youngest grandson, Asa, age 8. Sean is a businessman. He and Marianne live in Sydney, Australia. Marianne is a native of Perth, Australia. They have two wonderful young Aussies; Winston 11 1/2 and Charlotte 9 1/2. Kris, the youngest, and Sue live in Mammoth Lakes, CA, a ski resort in the Eastern Sierras. Kris is a low voltage electrical contractor. Sue has a 26 year old son, Brent, from a previous marriage. We are proud to claim Brent as our oldest grandson.

Sorry I cannot attend the reunion. I taught school in Tennessee for 13 years and moved to St Petersburg FL over 30 years ago where I met my husband Barry. I was FL District Manager for Schulmerich Carillons and Handbells for 18 years , left that to manage my husbands General Contractors office. He passed away over 3 years ago, then I retired. We were both animal lovers and rescued our 4 legged kids (dogs and cats)
