Comment: I am so sorry that I won't be able to be there this coming weekend.   I live north of Atlanta where we have been for 15 years. I am a former pre-school teacher and have been married to  Larry for 42 years. He is the CEO of a software company. We have 3 great children, 2 of whom, Matt and Kristen, graduated from Emory and live in Atlanta. Ben, our youngest, is in Minneapolis at the University doing research chemistry. We have 3 beautiful grandchildren, all in Atlanta.  I am in Bluefield once a month taking care of my Dad.   Thanks to the reunion committee for their hard work and for tracking me down!

Comment:  I've lived in Vienna, WV (near Parkersburg) for the past  20 years with my wife of 42 years, Janet.  For the past 20 years I have been a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. We were blessed with four children (one deceased) and five beautiful granddaughters.  I thank those that have worked hard to put this reunion together.

Come to Pittsburgh in the summer for biking, hiking, rock climbing and Pirate games.  In the winter we can snowshoe, xc and downhill ski.

Sorry I missed the 45th reunion.  It sounds like it was a good time had by all who attended.  Mike and I have been married for since 1975, and we have 3 daughters plus 3 sons-in-law plus 3 grandchildren plus another grandson on his way.  My husband and I are now retired, at least from paying jobs...

Comment: OK!  I'm trying this a second time!



I retired from teaching 2 years ago.  Loved teaching/Love Retirement!  My husband, Tom, and I now have time to spend lots of quality time with our 3 grandchildren and travel when we want.  I now spend a good portion of my time volunteering.  I volunteer at my grandchildren's school once a week.  I am on the Boards for the Angel Action Project and  Project Read. These are Wyoming Co. Projects.  It is amazing how quickly you get involved in volunteering when you open your mouth and say your interested in something.



I'm also Vice President of our Beta Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma International.  This is women teachers' organization.  Do any of you belong?  It would be great to hear from you and what chapter you are in.



My family and I are happy and in good health.  I wish you the same.



I would have loved to be at this year's reunion.  I was in Pt. Pleasant, WV in late June to stay a week with my dad who is now living with my brother, Tom.  There was just no way to turn right around and come back three weeks later.  I hope to be at the 50th.

Comment: Wow, I can't believe I am finally saying retired! I retired in June 2010 from Mercer County Board of Education with 36 years of service. All of these years of teaching were at Montcalm Elementary. Everett and I will celebrate 38 years of marriage in December. Brad, our oldest, was married in May and now resides in Bedford, VA. Emily is a nurse in the ER at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

God has certainly blessed us. Now we are praying that He will bless us with grandchildren before we get too old to enjoy them.

Comment: Sounds like a fun time for all of us BHS Class of '66 graduates. I have decided to bring my first husband with me, since most of you will remember him.

We moved to Dixie (job transfer) in '96 and left my evil twin to mow my mother's grass. Both of our kids are married and live here in NC. If you have visited Concord Mills Mall or Lowe's Motor Speedway, we live about 5 miles from there.

Looking forward to seeing all my classmates at this 40th year reunion. I am particularly looking forward to the BYOB since it is against the rules to drink adult beverages at our retirement village.
